Bishop's Conference of Switzerland hosts CIDJAP’s President and Founder-Director on his Global Walks and Works for Development, Justice and Peace

The President and Founder-Director of the Catholic Institute for Development Justice and Peace, CIDJAP, Caritas, Enugu, Southeast, Nigeria, Monsignor Professor Doctor Obiora Francis Ike is on a ten-day mission to Switzerland where he will be hosted by the Switzerland Bishops’ Conference Action Group “Church in Need”.

From Saturday, 3rd to Monday, 12th February, 2024, Monsignor Professor Doctor Obiora Francis Ike will be sharing insights on Nigeria’s current social economic and political challenges and advocating for human development, justice, peace and religious freedom.

In Switzerland, Monsignor Professor Doctor Obiora Francis Ike will also raise awareness about the economic, social, and political challenges faced by Nigerians, particularly regarding respect for human dignity, safeguarding religious freedom, protecting lives, property, and overall human development in the face of ongoing hardships and dangers.

This crucial mission tour to Switzerland, Europe, is a continuation of the global walks and works of Monsignor Professor Doctor Obiora Francis Ike in his quest for human development, justice and peace. The duty tour will greatly sensitise the Bishops of Switzerland and move them to stand together for needful actions for a more peaceful and just nation State devoid of untold hardships, setbacks, sufferings, inhumane conditions and dangers to lives, property and human development, currently posed to the persecuted Christians in Nigeria.
