The Catholic Institute for Development Justice and Peace (CIDJAP) Enugu awarded a contract worth more than seventeen million naira to reinforce the dilapidating structure at Nazareth House Skill Enugu. The Enugu Catholic Women Organisation manages the Nazareth House Skill Centre.
The centre trains young women in skills development, catering and home management. This development resulted from the visit from the Director of the Catholic Women Enugu Diocese and her team to the CIDJAP office. The women lamented that the main building that housed the school is on the verge of collapse.
CIDJAP swung into action immediately and engaged a contractor that started work at the centre. The Engineer made way for the waterways that were almost caving in the building and reinforced it. The students and members of the Catholic Women Organisation are grateful to CIDJAP.
