CIDJAP holds Workshop on Advanced Contemporary Issues in Work Ethics and Value Reorientation

Program of Event:

1. Registration: The workshop commenced promptly at 10:00 AM with registration of participants. Attendees were provided with attendance sheet and relevant workshop materials.

2. Opening Prayer: Sr. Nneka Okanume of CIDJAP Caritas Desk led a solemn opening prayer, calling on divine guidance and wisdom for the proceedings of the day.

3. Opening Remarks: The workshop was officially declared open by the Founding Director and President General of CIDJAP Very Rev. Msgr. Prof., Obiora Ike where he emphasized the importance of ethical conduct and value reorientation in organizational settings. Msgr. Prof., also introduced the CIDJAP management team to the ITF facilitators. 

4. Advanced Contemporary Issues in Work Ethics and Value Reorientation: An Overview by Mrs. Amaechi Mercy: Mrs. Mercy delved into the intricacies of contemporary work ethics and the significance of value reorientation in modern workplaces. She highlighted the evolving nature of work ethics and the need for adaptability in today's dynamic environment.

5. Tea Break: A brief tea break provided participants with an opportunity to network and engage in informal discussions.

6. Understanding Human Behavior and Organizational Culture by Engr. Ebere Jennifer Udeh:
Engr. Udeh provided valuable insights into human behavior within organizational contexts. She emphasized the role of organizational culture in shaping behavior and fostering a conducive work environment.

7. Leading Change by Mrs. Adah Nneka Uju: Mrs. Uju addressed the crucial aspect of leading change within organizations. She elaborated on effective strategies for managing change processes and overcoming resistance to change.

8. Group Discussion: Participants were divided into groups to discuss key takeaways from the presentations and to brainstorm practical solutions to workplace challenges in the context of CIDJAP.

9. Plenary: During the plenary session, representatives from each group shared the outcomes of their discussions. This interactive session facilitated knowledge sharing and peer learning.

10. Question and Answer, Contribution: Participants had the opportunity to seek clarification on any aspects of the presentations and to contribute their insights and experiences.

11. Lunch Break: A well-deserved lunch break provided participants with nourishment and an opportunity for further networking.

12. Closing Remarks and Closing Prayers:The workshop was brought to a close with closing remarks by CIDJAP Deputy Director Rev. Fr. Chidiebere Paul Ani, expressing gratitude to the organizers, presenters, and participants for their active involvement. A closing prayer was offered, seeking for more blessings for continued growth and development in CIDJAP.
