Third term academic session started on 24th April, 2023 and ended on 28th July, 2023.

Statistics of pupils in 3rd term was 291 while that of staff was 32.

There was normal successful School teaching and learning programme throughout the term except on Monday’s civil unrest “Sit At Home” order. Extra curricula activities of pupils during the term includes, Moral instruction class once in every week, Catechism classes twice in a week for pupils preparing for reception of First Holy Communion, Prayer sessions at 12 noon (Angelus) daily and Divine Mercy prayer at 3pm on lesson days and Holy Rosary prayer once a week. Apart from pupils activities, the school management had their usual Professional Development and Staff Meeting twice in the term.

The Professional Development meeting was centered on identification of needs or problems of pupils and staff which may affect the Educational, Moral and Social development of pupils. The meeting aimed at seeking out various strategies or solution to ameliorate or solve those problems. The Head teacher of the school also organized counselling session for staff and parents during P.T.A meeting for the term. The counselling programme was centered on how Growth, Maturation and Readiness can affect child’s educational development.

On 20th and 21st June, 2023 the school embarked on excursion programme for all the pupils in the school except Pre-Nursery pupils because they were too tender to embark on such outing. The excursion took place at Oakland Hotel Enugu. The pupils were led to enjoy some recreational facilities meant for kids within the hotel environment. It was an outing full of fun for CIDJAP School Children.

On 19th of July, 2023 the School organized an intra-school Essay Competition on Igbo and English Language for pupils in Basic 1 – 6. The result of the competition was published and announced during the Graduation Ceremony of the School on 28th July, 2023. The graduation ceremony started with con-celebrated Holy Mass by the founder of CIDJAP. Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike and Assistant director of CIDJAP Rev. Fr. Ambrose Offordile. Fourteen (14) pupils graduated from Basic 5 & 6 while Twenty-nine (29) pupils graduated from Nursery 3 class. Other activities of the graduation ceremony commenced after the Holy Mass. Some activities on that day of graduation includes; Round table discussion on Moral decadence among the Youths, drama titled “Unity is Strength” life etiquettes for social healthy living, Talk show etc. The graduation ceremony ended successfully with issuing of gifts, certificates and results to pupils.

 The graduation ceremony on the 28th of July, 2023 brought the academic session for 3rd term to a successful end.

3rd Term Achievement/Project

The School embarked on renovation work of total re-tilling of downstairs corridor. It was a project that enhanced the beauty of the school and saved children from sustaining injuries due to old cracked tiles on the school corridor.
