Miracle Sponsorship for Year 2024

History was made on Friday, 14th June 2024, when Meggy Kantent visited CIDJAP to see some of her children in the CIDJAP Sponsorship Programme.

The children were delighted to see Meggy's face, who served as a bridge between them and the donors. They danced and sent their complimentary messages to their God families.

The highlight of the event was the sponsorship that was given to Oluebube (Miracle) Arum and his brother Ifechukwu Arum. The mother, Ogonna Arum, visited the office barely one hour before Meggy's arrival. She was beaten and was chased away by her husband. The worst part of the story was that she was expecting a baby, too. She was so confused and full of tears.

It was so heart-rendering that Meggy took notice of her and requested for the children's profiles. She placed the little girl's picture in her WhatsApp platform and pleaded for a sponsor.

It was a miracle when little Oluebube (Miracle) got a sponsor in less than twenty-four hours. The sponsor, Claudia Hansen, opted to sponsor her elder brother, Ifechukwu too.

The sponsorship was termed "Miracle sponsorship of the year" because it was the shortest sponsorship notice we have gotten in many years since the inception of the programme in 1986 by Very Rev. Msgr. Obiora Ike. IT WAS INDEED A MIRACLE. Oluebube and Ifechukwu will start school by September 2024.

It is good to recall that Meggy has connected more than three hundred and sixty children to their donors and is still counting. She aims at making her children five hundred.

The CIDJAP family and sponsored children are equally grateful to our other donors from Kelkheim and Tettenweis Parishes in Germany.
