Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike reflected on his 45 years of priestly service, his childhood in northern Nigeria, and the experiences that shaped his commitment to faith, justice, peace, and service. He spoke about the importance of values in education, stressing that knowledge without character cannot produce responsible leaders or a healthy society.
He also discussed Nigeria’s challenges: insecurity, corruption, weak moral values, and the growing influence of technology. He called for stronger families, schools, religious institutions, and media literacy to help young people develop character and use technology responsibly, describing his life and priesthood as a grace and an opportunity to serve.
