Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah, has been conferred with an honorary doctorate degree at the University of East London (UEL), United Kingdom, in recognition of his contributions to public service, governance, and development.
The ceremony, held in London, was attended by distinguished guests, including Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike, Founder and Director of the Catholic Institute for Development, Justice and Peace (CIDJAP), who was present at the event in solidarity and support.
The University of East London honoured Governor Mbah as part of its tradition of recognising individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, innovation, and societal impact. The award places him among global figures acknowledged for excellence in governance and public service.
The recognition highlights Governor Mbah’s growing profile in public administration and his ongoing efforts aimed at improving governance systems, strengthening institutions, and promoting socio-economic development in Enugu State.
