This booklet presents the Micro-Enterprise Development Cooperation (MDC), founded by CIDJAP and the Growing Businesses Foundation in 2001, to share international microfinance best practices and build sustainable, self-reliant financial intermediaries for small enterprises.
It summarises MDC workshops, including CBN–MFI guidelines and the AFOS Microfinance Bank theme, drawing lessons from Uganda’s model for Nigeria’s poverty alleviation, justice, peace, and economic empowerment for underserved rural communities.
