Enugu, Nigeria — The Apostolic Nuncio to Nigeria and Ambassador of the Vatican City, Archbishop Michael Francis Crotty, made a historic visit to Holy Ghost Cathedral, Enugu, in November 2024 as part of the centenary celebrations of the Bigard Memorial Seminary, Enugu.
Archbishop Crotty was warmly received by a distinguished assembly led by the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Enugu, Most Reverend Callistus Valentine Chukwuma Onaga, and the Auxiliary Bishop, Most Reverend Ernest Anezichukwu Obodo. Joining them was the Founder, President, and Director of the Catholic Institute for Development, Justice, and Peace (CIDJAP), Msgr. Prof. Dr. Obiora Francis Ike.
