5 June 2019—Globethics.net has signed a library (partnership) agreement with the Macau Ricci Institute (MRI).
The Macau Ricci Institute, under the direction of Stephen Rothlin, is a nonprofit, study and research institution dedicated to fostering better mutual understanding between China and the world community. The organisation offers a unique blend of cultural professional research programs. They have recently launched a digital library after incurring irreplaceable losses to their physical library (formerly known as the Tomás Pereira Library) in wake of typhoon Hato in August 2017.
The agreement will allow the Globethics.net library to share a selection of documents, including historical holdings of the MRI Library, contemporary literature focused on ethics and applied ethics, educational resources and case studies (currently in development). As a result, the agreement will enable greater visibility to MRI digital library content and enrich the Globethics.net Library.
