The Lassalle-Institut hosted a conference on ‘Managing and Teaching Business Ethics: Global Trends and Challenges' on 13-16 May 2018.

The purpose of the conference was to explore the challenges of doing business in an ethical manner in the modern, globalised world. To accomplish this, the conference was design to enhance both the theory as well as the practise of business ethics.

The first day was devoted to academic exchange among specialists in business ethics; the last day provided the participants with first-hand experience of the ethical challenges that corporations face through a visit.

Globethics.net Executive Director, Dr Obiora Ike, had the opportunity to showcase the work of Globethics.net on business ethics and corporate social responsibility, as well as the new catalogue of products through two interventions. He highlighted the Globethics.net Programme on Ethics for Professions and the different products Globethics.net offers to integrate ethics in business.

Globethics.net Programme Executive Online Library, Andreas Waldvogel, attended the conference and bilateral meetings with potential Library partners.
