
On October 4, 2024, the Enugu State Local Government Chairmen gathered at the Old Government Lodge, Enugu, for a leadership retreat aimed at enhancing governance and development at the grassroots level. The retreat, which brought together local government chairmen from across the State, focused on equipping the leaders with tools to improve transparency, accountability, and service delivery in their respective constituencies.
One of the retreat’s key speakers was Monsignor Prof. Obiora Ike, a renowned scholar and advocate for ethical leadership. In his speech, Msgr. Ike emphasized the importance of integrity and responsibility in governance.
