The Catholic Institute for Development, Justice and Peace (CIDJAP) Vocational and Technical Training Centre (VTTC) actively participated in the Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) Initiative Industry Mapping organized by the Federal Ministry of Education, Technology and Science Education.
The event was held at Oranto Hotel, Emene, Enugu. CIDJAP was represented by a three-member delegation led by the Deputy Director, the VTTC Coordinator and the VTTC Academic Secretary.
The program aimed to strengthen collaboration between TVET institutions and the industry sector to enhance technical skills development and align training with industry demands. It provided a platform for stakeholders to map out current industry trends, identify skill gaps and strategize on integrating innovative training methodologies for national development.
CIDJAP VTTC's participation reaffirms its commitment to promoting vocational and technical education, fostering partnerships and contributing to Nigeria's workforce development through high quality skills acquisition programs.
