Introduction:
The ad hoc management meeting of the Catholic Institute for Development, Justice and Peace (CIDJAP) was convened on the 16th of May, 2024, at Bishop Eneja Hall. The meeting was chaired by the esteemed Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike, Director of CIDJAP. Opening Prayer:
The session commenced with an opening prayer led by Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike, invoking divine guidance and blessings for the deliberations ahead.

Opening Remarks:
Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike began the meeting with reflections on a recent Correa held with the Bishop. During this meeting, the Bishop expressed his profound appreciation for CIDJAP's contributions to the diocese. He lauded CIDJAP as the "apple of the eye" of the diocese, highlighting its significant impact on the community and its pivotal role in advancing the diocese's mission in projects and humanitarian assistance.

Matters Arising:
The primary focus of the meeting was the formation of various committees to enhance CIDJAP's operational efficiency. Three key committees were established:

Executive Management Committee:
• This committee includes the Directors of Administration, Projects, Legal, Deputy Director, and Assistant Director.

• It is tasked with holding weekly meetings to address immediate and ongoing matters as they arise. Expanded Committee:

• This committee encompasses the Management Finance Committee and the Management Team Committee. Management Finance Committee:

• This committee will convene monthly to review and assess the impacts of various units within CIDJAP, ensuring financial stewardship and accountability.

Closing Remarks
Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike concluded the meeting by reiterating the importance of the committees' roles in sustaining and enhancing CIDJAP's impact. He encouraged all members to remain committed to the institute's mission and to work collaboratively for the greater good.
